Lycos Meeting! [O] « Thread Started on Jul 9, 2008, 10:07pm »
She blew at her paws as she sat in the center of camp and howled. She howled greatly, calling the Lycos Wolves to the meeting.
She wondered where Odessey, Oreo, and Big Maya were. Oreo had become the heir to the family, and Maya was still Maya, trying to live up to the family name. She waited for the wolves, and thought of Makar.
Makar.. dead... revenge.... sabio She thought. That was one poin of the meeting. To plan revenge on Sabio. But how could she take revenge on her own brother? That was wrong. She thought about it. It would be sad, the outcome, but. That was Windsky.
Twizzel's ears twitched abruptly, listening to the howl of the Alphess. He really had half the mind to continue on his little /adventure/ but Windsky seemed urgeful ever since the death of Makar. He /was/ such a better alpha then Windskey and Oddessy.... He brought himself to his paws, and began venturing toward the meeting, excited and ethusastic of what there /next/ plan of action would be. His ears furrowed back in a weird funny way, letting his fur bobble in the on coming air. He chuffled, alerting the other creatures of his /mighty/ presence. Twizzel the Jester! He could image his name carved in tree bark. Making wolves luagh harder then ever before! He grinned to himself, before finally setting eyes on Windsky, and sitting down with his tail limp and his eyebrows furrowed in a mocking way. What was there next plan of action to be? What would Makar do...?
Mossfire padded out of her den, her eyes dull, yet her head held high. She wasn't overly happy at the moment, but just a little saddened. Makar had fallen about a week before, and had been buried in the center of camp under Stonepile, so he could listen to the meetings like every other wolf. It was Mossfire's duty to tell if Makar was to send any signs.
The camp had been quiet the past week. No yelling orders, or plans being set up for vengence. It was very... different. She couldn't blame the pack though, because they were probably still grieving. Behind herself, Mint and Silent Maya padded forward, and sat on either side of her. They understood what their mother was feeling, especially Maya. For some reason, Maya was the most closely bonded with Makar. It was sad she couldn't share her feelings any other way but crying.
Then, Mijo padded slowly into camp, his head low, and each step was hard. He sat down, and never looked up at Windsky on Stonepile. He couldn't bare to see Windsky standing atop his father's grave. His father would have taught him to be a proper leader. But now, Mijo was stuck with Oddessey to teach him. Why couldn't Makar have waited for his death? Why couldn't have lived just a few months longer? Mijo's life was grief-ridden now. The only thing that cheered him up was Slit...
OoC: Alex, you can't say Oreo was the heir unless Odessey and Windsky have spoken about it.
Odessey climbed up the stones and faced his mate, his eyes cold. What do you think you're doing?! He hissed, his voice quiet so no other wolves could hear. You are soppused to talk to to me before calling a meeting. His gaze passed briefly over the wolves gathering below. He spotted Slit, making her way to sit beside her mate, gazing coldly up at Windsky and Odessey. It didn't seem like anyone was in a good mood. Besides Twizzel of course, but he didn't really count in Odessey's mind.
bic// "Well Mister Mate, you werent around were you?" Windsky told him, her eyes cold as well.
"I dont need to tell you. Im Alphess, and I have just as much power as the Alpha. Now im not gonna go start picking fights with my own mate. Our pups are ready for their mentors. And it would please me to announce them for once. You get your glory as Alpha, so let me get mine as Alphess, and do something. Im not letting you do all the work and me watch from the side, and take care of the pups. We are mates, so we should do things equally."
Mijo felt his mate's familiar fur against his own. He made a crooked smile appear on his muzzle as he looked at her. He leaned into her fur. Mijo had been such a wreck lately. He wished that all of this never happened... He heard his mentor speaking harshly with Windsky, but he managed to tune it out.
Mossfire was on the last straw, listening to Windsky and Oddessey fighting. She stood up and growled. "That's enough! Dare you set paw on my nephew's grave, and argue with eachother!?" Mossfire snapped. Silent Maya an Mint crouched and retreated back a few steps from their mother. "Stop fighting and get on with the meeting, already!" Mossfire, normally calm and peaceful, had changed by the death. She couldn't manage her anger lately as well as she used to.
Slit could feel Mijo's frustration as she leaned agianst his warm fur. She could feel his anger, and his sorrow. Slit snarled at Odessey, feeding off of Mijo's feelings. Get on with the meeting you old bum! She wanted revenge. She wanted blood. She wanted Mijo to be leader and to have pups. The only thing standing in her way was Odessey and Windsky, bickering like pups.
Odessey flashed an angry glance towards the lorekeeper, then one back at his mate. I'll deal with you later. He snarled under his breath to Windsky before turning back to the pack. Very well. Lycos pack, I know you all are thirsty for revenge. And so am I. It's about time we show thoose puny Sabio Wolves what were made of, isn't it?! He shifted his weight slightly as he stared at Mijo. He would make a good leader, there was no doubt about that. But he hated Odessey, Odessey knew that all to well. How could Odessey keep his beta postion when he was hated by the future alpha? I'm alpha now. That's all that matters.
ooc// Think we could give this meeting a break until tuesday? Oreo and Big Maya need mentors and I still need to remake them. Dont Mossfire's pups need mentors as well?
Spade stepped forward and looked eagerly up at the wolves on the high rock. She snarled and looked at the ground digging her claws into it. Those darn Sabio Wolves. She thought. She snarled and shouted: Were all tense and angry nothing is gonna get better so stop fighting and get on with it! She looked at every wolf and showed her teeth showing no sympthy. She looked at Mossfire and snarled. Nothing makes you any more special just because he was your nephew. We all loved and cared for him. She snarled, turned flicking her tail with anger and walked to the back of the crowd.

ooc// lol, sorrel. don't look at Mijo. Look at Mossfire. XD
Mossfire took no heed to Spade's words, but she did turn her head and look at the wolf, eyes narrowed. She acts as if she's all smart, the brilliant wolf in the pack... That would be myself, and the two leader-to-be, and just maybe the current alpha and alphess. NOT Spade. Mossfire was thinking to herself.
Mijo's ears pivoted back when he heard Spade speaking to his Great aunt. He lifted his head and looked over to Slit, then Spade, and stood up. He padded over to spade and snarled, stadnding in her walking path. "You better not talk to our Lorekeeper with that kin of disrespect ever again! Otherwise, you'll regret it when I take my place as leader." Mijo snapped angrily. He took no time to wait for a reply. He swung around, and began walking back with his last words. "Pipe down. I don't want to hear another word from you."
Odessey, watching the pack fight below him, tried to calm his own anger. It was hard, he wanted to leap down and shred the wolves to pieces to make them stop fighting, but he knew that wouldn't help things. It would only make things worse if he did that. So, sighing with frustration, he watched.
Slit glared at Spade a nasty comment on the tip of her tongue. But her mate had already said it all. It would seem stupid to just say the exact thing Mijo had said, so she just glared at Spade with all the poison a snake has. Her ears pinned back, Slit stared into the other female eyes, wanting her to flinch away. Slit was the dominant one here, Spade was just another wolf in her pack.
Spade held her gaze in the Alphas eyes until she relized that she had just joined and would not want to end up desperetly searching for another home again. She turned away and muttered under her breath. She stands tall and holds her gaurd under anything! What was she doing?! She sighed. I should say sorry but these wolves are just as tense as I am. They'll never back down. This pack will never get anywhere with everyone as stubborn as the rest. She wanted to the meeting to get over with so she could go rest her head and think about what to do near the river, her calming place. She turned and glared at Mossfire from behind. I as a member of your pack have as much say as you do! She thought. What would this pack be without its members? Nothing. She snarled and smiled then looked up to Odessey waiting for him to start the meeting.
